For Arulnithi his previous film Thagararu was not well noticed by the audience. After that he relied on director Chimbudevan who is known for his comedy treatments. Today is the D-Day for both as Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavanigalum is set to see the lights. Most of the film is extensively shot in Chennai. Casts including Bindu Madhavi, Ashrita Shetty, Bagavati Perumal and Nasser along with various comedy artists.
According to the director this particular subject is also comedy based but ‘time’ will be the important factor. The story is about two male persons and a girl who look out for money in short cuts. Their decision to kidnap a rich girl leads to a mess. How they tackle situation and come out of it is the main plot. Chimbudevan is known for his historical flicks in the past but this OKMK deals with contemporary period. Natarajan Sankaran has scored the music. His effort was appreciated in debut film Moodar Koodam and expected to repeat the same here.
